Planning permission granted for new house on Arkwrights

News / Tue 18th Apr 2023 at 06:37am

PLANNING permission for a new house on Arkwrights has been approved by Harlow Council’s planning committee.

The proposal is to separate the site from the curtilage of 137 Arkwrights and erect a new dwelling on it.

The single storey northern flank would be sited hard up against the boundary of 137 Arkwrights, while the two storey southern flank would be separated from the boundary of 136 Arkwrights by between 2.3m and 3.8m. The front elevation of the dwelling would be set back by 4.5m from the rear elevation of 137 Arkwrights.

The accommodation would consist of three bedrooms, with sufficient space to accommodate five residents. Two car parking spaces would be provided to the front of the dwelling, accessed via a driveway shared with 137 Arkwrights.
