HARLOW MP Robert Halfon was in upbeat mood after the Conservative group had retained control of Harlow Council.

It was noticeable how high profile Mr Halfon was in this campaign as he rallied the local councillors and activists across the town.

We spoke to him after the count and asked if he thought it was local or national issues that people voted on.
