Old Harlow: Person attacked by group of teenagers outside shops

ESSEX Police are appealing for the public’s help following an assault in Harlow earlier this month.
Officers were called to Old Harlow High Street, outside the Co-op store at around 8pm on 5 May following reports of an assault.
The victim was approached by a group of people, who threw a brick at him and verbally assaulted him.
The victim sustained a broken tooth and injuries to his lip.
The group of suspects are described as a mix of boys and girls, all around 15/16 years old.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this assault or have any further information to contact them.

I was there and saw those stupid little brats start on the poor guy.. I Don't no where you've got your information from Eva but he DID NOT start it. Those silly little kids wanted to fight with anyone. They started on him first. So i suggest you research your information Eva.. I have them names of those kids and will be sending them to the police so these idiots can get arrested for this assault.

I too know these kids as they where friends off my son until i heard what they did.. I have there home locations and names so will also be forwarding to police.

for your information DREW i watched the whole thing from my car and asked the kids what had happened and they had told me that the man had said something very offensive towards then about the mother also was asking them if they would like to buy crack and heroine off him so for your INFORMATION the man started the whole thing pushing and shoving the children!!!!!!

John reason Whatnon earth does anything have to do with religion and the church? If someone is going to do this will regardless of them going to church. Have you not seen the crimes that have happened WITHIN the church??

You stopped the kids from attacking them Lucy? Yet he still got attacked. I watched the whole thing. At first the kids removed themselves from the situation and the victim repeatedly followed them. The victim provoked one of children and grabbed him by his T shirt. The child did not physically attack him first. I was told that he was offering the children drugs and he asked if they wanted to work for him by selling drugs which is illegal and the children told me they declined the offer. The victim is known to be addicted to drugs. I know what the children did was unacceptable and disgusting yet it was not a random attack it was provoked. So i suggest you get off the comments if you’re going to spread false information and not the full truth.

Eva was probably one of the kids. So, I wouldn't be surprised that they're trying to spread misinformation. Seldom do fully grown adults go out to buy a paper, only to come out of the off license and start on a bunch of kids.
