Man set to stand trial over alleged driving and drug offences in Harlow.

A MAN is set to stand trial over a number of alleged driving and drug offences.
Tyler Simpson, aged 20, of Havers Lane, Bishops Stortford was charged with the following offences.
On April 26th, 2021 at Harlow drove a mechanically propelled vehicle, namely Peugeot 208, dangerously on a road, namely Upper Mealines, Harlow.
On April 26th, 2021 at Harlow without lawful excuse, damaged unmarked police vehicle to the value of unknown belonging to Essex Police intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.
On April 26th, 2021 at Harlow had in your possession a quantity of cannabis a controlled drug of class B with intent to supply it to unknown in contravention of section 4(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
On April 26th, 2021 at Harlow assaulted an emergency worker, a Police Constable, acting in the exercise of his functions as such a worker, by beating him.
On April 26th, 2021 at Harlow had in your possession a quantity of cocaine a controlled drug of class A in contravention of section 5(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
On 26/04/2021 A trial date of June 7th at Chelmsford Crown Court has been set.
Simpson was released on unconditional bail.
