Football / Thu 25th May 2023 at 04:35pm
HARLOW Town are delighted to confirm that The Hawks are getting ready to play competitive football.
Chief Executive Tim Sewell said: “Our application for a return to competitive football next season has been accepted by the FA and whilst we have appealed the decision with regards to the step which we have been relegated to, we can begin to reveal our plans for the forthcoming season as Danny Chapman builds his squad.
“Danny has been hard at work during our time away, having opportunities to watch games and players that wouldn’t ordinarily have been possible. Conversations have started to take place with key players and are in advanced stages with some. Watch this space for exciting announcements soon!
Our time away has presented us with an opportunity to reset and regroup and start to take a fresh approach.
We would like to invite CV’s from interested players who are looking for a new challenge in what’s set to be an exciting time ahead for us all. This is a great opportunity for us to reinstate Harlow Town as a local football force so as such local talent is invited to look at joining us for this exciting re-start.
For interested players, please could you send your Football CV’s to:
“In addition to playing personnel, we are delighted to offer several other opportunities to work with our First Team. Namely we are looking for the following roles to be undertaken:
• Kit Manager
• Team Physiotherapist
• Goal Keeping Coach
“Of course, all Non-League Clubs could not operate as they do without the fantastic support of a small army of volunteers. We are absolutely no different, so please, if you’d like to get involved drop us a line.
“We’ll be back out to you soon with further updates”.
What a fiasco! down but not out, does that include Harlow Women FC?
Good.Got to say that a town of over 85,000 people ,the football club are pretty awful, and that is putting it very mildly!
