Man arrested after car driven through Harlow at high speed smashes into another

ESSEX Police has launched an investigation after a car, reportedly, drove round a roundabout the wrong way before ploughing into another car.

An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We were called to Fifth Avenue in Harlow at around 1:30pm on Saturday, 3 June following reports of a two vehicle collision. Two people in one of the cars involved had decamped and left the scene.

Officers attended and searched multiple areas, including Harlow Town Park to locate those involved. NPAS assisted officers with the search. A man was located in Gilston and arrested on suspicion of possession of Class B drugs.

Those involved sustained minor injuries in the collision.

It’s believed that the suspects car, a Silver BMW was travelling the wrong way around the roundabout.
