PLANNING permission has been granted for a Foot Golf course in Harlow Town Park.

The course has permission to be situated on the old pitch and putt course which closed in the early nineties.

There were a number of objections from residents at Arbour Mews, the housing development off School Lane.

The councillors on the committee discussed a number of issues from the position of the kiosk to the relocation of benches.

Assurance was given that this would not interfere with the operation of the parkrun which takes place on Saturdays mornings.

The application was approved unanimously.

This is a private initiative and not Harlow Council.
