TYSON Louis from Harlow has been crowned the regional winner for the East of England in the 2023 national Heating Installer Awards, after overcoming tough competition in the highly talented region. 

Tyson has over 14 years in the plumbing and heating industry specialising in designing and creating bespoke systems tailored to the client’s requirements. 

No matter whether it’s a full heating install or the simplest of plumbing projects, Tyson is dependable and committed to high quality customer service. 

The panel of technical industry judges awarded Tyson the top prize for the region after an interesting and exciting judging day last month. He successfully wowed the judges with his professional expertise, problem solving skills and commitment to customer satisfaction. Tyson will now go on to the final in the tough competition for the national championship. 

Speaking of his win, Tyson said: “I can’t believe I’m the regional winner for the East of England especially considering the massive talent in the region. I’m excited for the next stages of the competition and I’m really grateful for this amazing opportunity from the Heating Installer Awards, to really show off my skills and what I can do.”

The awards scheme, now in its eighth year, recognises the achievements and raises the credibility of plumbers and heating installers across the country who deliver excellent customer service on a daily basis. Representatives from the awards’ partners, Big Wipes, CIPHE, Danfoss, LG, Refresh PR,  Stelrad and Polypipe Building Products as well as media partner Installer magazine, judged the entries on problem solving, product knowledge and unique details. The panel was also joined by the 2022 Heating Installer Awards winner, John Cruickshank.

Voting closes on 29th May and public votes will contribute to a quarter of Tyson’s overall score, alongside the judges’ scores and the scores from a technical challenge set for all regional and highly commended winners. 

The winner will be announced on 28th June at Installer Show 2023, the UK’s national plumbing and heating show.
