FOLLOWING international selections for Bebe Jackson, Rosa Huntington and Richard Chiassaro, Harlow AC is delighted to announce an Essex call-up for one of its juniors. The club learned that Tyson had earned a place in the Essex U13 squad that will be competing against Surrey, Sussex and Kent, at an U13 and U15 inter-counties match in Walton-on-Thames in July.

The selection comes as a result of her excellent second place at the County Championships, held in May, and because she had hit the national qualifying standard of under 13 seconds. Her 12.40s performance ranks her second in the Eastern Region and thirty-ninth nationally. In the next few weeks, she will find out if she has been selected for Hertfordshire Schools – she goes to school over the border – to compete at the National Schools’ Finals, in Birmingham in July.
