Two fined for shoplifting at Asda in The Water Gardens

TWO people have pleaded guilty to shoplifting at Asda in Harlow Town Centre.

Stevie Harrison, aged 33 and Lexis Hughes, aged 25, of Templefields House, Harlow pled to the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.

On April 7th, 2023 at Harlow, stole multiple items, to the value of £420.00 belonging to Asda Store.

On April 13th, 2023 at Harlow stole a number of items, to the value of £309.00, belonging to Asda Store.

Harrison was fined £137.00. Hughes was fined £122.00

Fines? Really? They are probably already trying to shoplift again as I type this comment.

I suspect so Luke. Way less fine than the value they stole !! Templefields House again in the news

They could have at least fined them like for like, to the value of the items stolen. Judges in this country are flaming useless. There is no deterrent and these two will no doubt go and do exactly the same thing. Templefields House, says it all!

They was probably stealing to pay the fines on a previous conviction of theft!!
