Former owner of Saxon Inn, whose daughter was murdered in Kenya, passes away

THE FORMER owner of the Saxon Inn in Harlow has passed away after a thirty-five year quest for justice when his daughter was murdered in Kenya.
John Ward and his wife Jan died just days apart having never given up the battle to expose a cover-up that reached the highest levels.
Sons Bob, 60, and Tim, 61, have vowed to continue their parents’ work.
In 2018, YH reported on how Mr Ward, then 85, was continuing got fight for his daughter Julie.
Keen wildlife photographer Julie was 28 when she was killed in the Masai Mara reserve in 1988.
Her dad John found her charred remains when he flew out to find her after she went missing shortly before she was due to return to the UK.

Such a shame this couple had to take this to their graves with them, hope they're finally at peace.
