Update: Two in hospital after stabbing in Harlow Railway Station car park

Update: Statement from British Transport Police: Monday Jun 19th

OFFICERS were called to Harlow Town station at 4.39pm on 16 June following reports of a fight in the car park.

One 16-year-old boy attended hospital with a minor injury to his hand and another 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital with stab wounds to his stomach.

Both have been discharged.

The first 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of GBH and the second was arrested on suspicion of affray.

“Both have been released on bail pending further enquiries”.

Update: We did contact British Transport Police media team on Friday evening.

As of Saturday morning, we are still awaiting details re what happened.

UPDATE: POLICE have sealed off a car park next to Harlow Town Railway Station.

Uniformed officers are standing by an area at the rear of the car park near to the entrance/exit fo the Network Rail Car Park.

There was also a large number of police vehicles and ambulances on standby at River Way but it is unknown at this point if it is related.

YH has contacted the British Transport Police press office for more details.

1800 hrs: There is severe disruption at Harlow Town Station due to a police incident.

Could the incident be connected with the Travelodge next door?

Jean McApine Park was sealed off the other day with a large Police presence no mention of that as far as I can see. Seems to be the norm for the Town nowadays, far cry from the idyllic place of 50 years or do ago.

Me, even if it was treated as attempted murder they'd be let out on bail!!! No deterrent in another prime example of lawless harlow.
