One male injured after large disturbance in Bush Fair car park

Update: Statement from Essex Police
“We responded to several calls shortly after 4pm on Monday 19 June reporting an incident of disorder involving a group of individuals in Tilegate Road, Harlow.
“Officers attended and found a male had suffered a minor facial injury.
“The suspects involved had since left the scene, but enquiries into this disturbance continue.
“We would urge anyone who may have information which could assist us to get in touch.

A LARGE number of police officers descended on the Bush Fair area of Harlow on Monday afternoon.
A number of officers, both uniformed and plain clothes, were seen in the Tye Green Bowling Club car park at just after 4pm.
The Essex Police helicopter was also in attendance, hovering over the immediate area.
Officers were then seen speaking to a number of young persons in the car park.
There were a number of mopeds in the car park. One was placed on a low loader and taken away.
YH has contacted Essex Police press office for more information.
More follows when we receive further information.

It's constant with these lads on the motorcross bikes and pit bikes, wearing balaclavas and no number plates. If they hit your car or you're in a crash with them it's your own insurance that goes sky high because they don't have any. Constantly seen driving at traffic doing wheelies, weaving in and out of cars. Driving on the pavements and have almost hit pedestrians. There have been 3 of them driving around the past few days one red bike, one blue motorcross bike with the usual suspect wearing a balaclava and and a bloke that looks to be in his 30's with blonde hair on a quad bike. Been up and down Potter street and Foster street and in the woods too. They don't care and think they are untouchable. It won't be long before the public take matters into their own hands to stop these idiots before someone gets seriously hurt!

I see most of it. One of the gang members walk past me by Wintery motors, next minute a coppers car come fly across the other side of the road and up o to the grass verge and that when this gang member started to run 0ff up Longfield heading towards Style croft and Spencer's croft, then all of a sudden India 99 was hoveri g up

No morals or respect doesn't make them a gang member just means they think the world owes them a favour and most of them their parents know exactly what they're doing. All over facebook saying "my lovely boy, he has a heart of gold" What a joke they're part of the problem. If these offenders are under the age of 18 then parents need to be made accountable too

They are thugs but the real problem is they run from Potter Street to Newhall with scary masts and scares young children. They run from Potter Streets to Nicholls fields and freak out kids , no one can stop them so come on Police you know who these kids are so do your jobs.

30 minutes after the helicopter went, the bikes were flying up and down near Pear Tree Mead school along Trotters Rd so nothing will change. Someone will get seriously injured soon.

Little wannabe roo boy gangsters only just out of nappies bless them. It boggles the mind these groups meet up and huddle round as if playing ring a roses or parss the parcel and wearing balaclavas when it's over 20c... why..... ??? And wearing at least 2 pairs of normally addias or nike trackys. And hopping around like there on hot coals or something ? Riding Uninsured hair dyers thats probably stolen from there own family member or maybe some hard working individual that's saved a year to get? Over what a certain plant that stinks of troubled youths not to mention no doubt the white talcum powder and for what a 6x8 room or stabbed or dead?? Perthetic excuse of our day and age. I live by the Stort near Harlow Mill restaurant.These bikes roar along the towpath at great speed.People with children ,pushbikes elderly walking dogs..As said an accident waiting to happen.Also they think they have the right of way.Another problem Started recently are electric scooters carrying 2 people traveling at great speed

They already have names and photos of some of these lowlifes so their time is running out, but the more their names are put forward or evidence given the better. It's either that or it will be people from Harlow themselves that pay these tw*nts a visit because it's starting to get that way. Everyone knows that the families most of them come from are all well known in the town. That doesn't make them immune to having their lives made a misery just like they are making other people's lives hell. They're all probably reading these comments and thinking it's funny. Dragged up not brought up and living off the proceeds of the victims their little darlings rob, that makes them sc*m!

I attended a local meeting with two councillors and these wannabe gangsters were brought up amongst other subjects. One of the councillors when the matter was raised said, "this is more than just kids creating mischief. This is tied in with county lines drug dealing. The police know the people involved and where they live so please don't get involved" These are the same kids who were creating chaos last year, all through the winter and now this year too. It leaves the question that if the council and the police know what is being done and by who, how many years do they need to stop it or will it take someone dying before they do anything?

Terry, Let me get this straight! The Police and the Council know exactly who they are and where they live and have done so since last year. Yet those responsible are still able to to do what they are doing and stick their fingers up at Essex Police and Harlow Police and run rings around them?! They have photos all over their facebook accounts of them all in balaclavas doing their little gang signs and some photos with drugs and weapons, and their parents on their facebook too. Many of them over the age of 18. If the council know who they are and if any of them live in social housing, it's simple, kick them and their families out!! If we can't rely on the Police to protect us then what hope have we got???
