Update: Essex Police

We are no longer looking to identify a woman we want to speak to in connection with an assault in the Church Langley area of Harlow.

It was reported an 18 year-old woman was assaulted at Church Langley playing field at around 8.20pm on 24 May.

It was also reported the victim was racially abused.

We released an image of a woman we wanted to identify in connection with the incident and, thanks to public’s help, believe we have now identified.

Our enquiries are ongoing.
