A VERY promising young Harlow golfer has a fantastic chance to compete in the United States of America but he needs your help.

Just last month Purford Green student Rio was invited to America to play in a state level competition.

At just 9 years old this is a remarkable achievement and follows his success in the United Kingdom last year.

Since then, the opportunities have come rolling in and he has been asked to play in Rome, New Zealand and Dubai all before the end of this year. 

As much as his family would love him to go, the fees for travel, accommodation and so on are not all manageable which means he might miss out on some great opportunities.

A family spokesperson said: “We have decided to put this Go Fund Me together for Rio to raise as much as possible to make his dreams come true and continue to show what he has got in the golf world! 

“Anything you can donate will go towards making this little boys day, and one day you might be able to say you helped a professional golfer along the way in his career.
