WHEN the weather forecast predicted rain, rain and more rain, the organisers of Pride in the Park asked the manager of the Harvey Centre, Bryan Young and his team if they could help.

Of course they could and so the whole event transferred to the first floor in the town centre shopping forum.

And what a great time everyone had.

There was a real unifying spirit at the event. Nobody was going to rain on their parade!
