Man arrested in investigation where babies had dummies taken from them in Harlow

OFFICERS investigating a series of incidents in Harlow where children had dummies taken from them, have made an arrest.
An investigation was launched following a series of reports of a man approaching people with babies and removing their dummies. Four incidents were reported to Essex Police between 10 February and 7 August in the Staple Tye Shopping Centre, Woodcroft, Parsloe Road and Cooks Spinney areas.
Officers from their Criminal Investigation Department were carrying out enquiries in Harlow on Monday, 14 August and arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of theft from a person, robbery and using threatening behaviour to cause alarm or distress.
He remains in custody.
Enquiries remain ongoing and investigating officers are continuing to appeal to anyone with any information to contact us.

He will prob get away with it and the write up dont really fit the true crime in my opinion. Absolutely shocking what this vile individual has done,the mothers must have been terrified and it will probably affect them for a very long time.
A very strange thing to do,I have to ask why.
Mental problems I'd say
Don't have any reason whatsoever to approach someone's child, probably the start of something else!
Policing for dummies, glad they were able to pacify the sucker.
