Chair of Harlow Council praises local charities as part of Hidden Gems celebration

THE THEME of the chair of Harlow Council’s year is Hidden Gems.
With that in mind, councillor Andrew Johnson invited over 40 local charities to a civic reception at the Water Gardens.
The chair as well as the leader of Harlow Council spoke warmly regarding their work before handing out individual certificates to the charities.

Meanwhile the Chair neglects to even mention or support the two Charities successfully and making a difference for over 20 years, working in his own ward. Notable that Your Harlow reported that one of them was recognised and given Awards for Services to the community from the High Sheriff of Essex last year.
Hi Chair, any chance you could help tidy up our slum town? A previous 'Chair' declined to assist. Remember you're a Womble when passing same old items and or 'hotspot' places and one would guess that you have a camera phone as do your staff too. Every little report should help. (And yes, my flytipping neighbours front garden is still flytipped with same items as last month.) Dropped kerbs still parked across. Multuple Dead Xmas *2022 trees still all about too. But your chain looks lovely. So, "Bravo!" Good luck everyone. ( *date of not amount of)
