Tories under fire after dramatic fall in school sport in England

THE number of hours young people spend doing PE and sport in secondary schools in England has fallen by more than 12% since the 2012 London Olympics, despite promises by ministers that the games would “inspire a generation” and kickstart a massive expansion of sport in the state sector reports The Guardian.

Not surprised, our Sports centre and swimming pool were closed down. And replaced by something else, not as good.
Should look at primary schools as well. So much emphasis on phonics, reading, writing and maths that there's no time left for sport or art. Always the first things to drop when changes happen.
