OFFICERS investigating a robbery against a delivery driver in the Fordingbridge area of Hampshire have made two arrests.
It comes after the victim was making a delivery to an address on Beechwood just after 2pm yesterday afternoon (21 August) when he was approached by two unknown men.
The two men are then alleged to have pushed the delivery driver to the floor before stealing four packages and fleeing the area in a vehicle.
Officers were deployed after the vehicle was located travelling along the M3 towards Junction 12 (Eastleigh). They successfully stopped the vehicle safely.
One of the men attempted to flee the scene but Taser was drawn and deployed by officers to ensure he was detained safely. While the other man was arrested inside the vehicle.
A 33-year-old man from Harlow and a 39-year-old man from Lewisham were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
They remain in custody at this time.
Looks like Harlow's premier export to other counties is crime.
