FOUR of Innovation Multisport’s members competed at the European Aquathlon Age Group Championships in Menen, Belgium, on Friday.

Andrew Kitson, who has been representing Great Britain since the 2017 event, was fastest around the course (1Km swim, 5Km run), and his time of 38:54 saw him finish in 6th place (out of 15) in the 45-49 category.

Next to finish was Ryan Smith, who finished only 10 seconds later, and his time of 39:04 saw him finish in 18th place (out of 26) in the 40-44 category.

Jon Waight, making his debut at this level of competition, managed to bag a top 10 finish in the 60-64 category with his time of 43:34.

Paul Schroder, representing Great Britain for the fourth time in the last 12 months, set a new best time of 43:59 and finished in 23rd place in the 40-44 category.
