ESSEX Police has launched an investigation after a car was found to have collided with the front gates of a school.

An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of a collision involving one vehicle in Hodings Road, Harlow, shortly before 3.35pm on Sunday 17 September.

“It was reported a car had struck a set of gates at a school (Pemberley Academy).

“Officers attended and found the car abandoned. Our investigation into this incident is ongoing.”
