LAST weekend was a busy one for Innovation Multisport, a regular London Half Marathon, The Royal Parks saw three members take part.

Vicky Steadman completed her personal challenge of 50 half marathons before turning 50. Her Royal Parks Half was 1 second faster than her first ever half  The Philadelphia Distance, back in 2000. Official time of 1:51:01.

Susan Mould and Oliver Skipper, had never met before the race as Oliver has moved to Norfolk but is still an active member, training virtually and meeting up at parkrun tourism. They found each other by spotting the awesome pink kit! Running the race together, keeping each other motivated till the end, finish times, Oliver 2:32:06 and Susan 2:34:00. Well done to them both!

Two marathons were also taking place on the same day, Steve Cooper ran at Chester Marathon. After months of training 6 days a week, cycling, strength training, long and short runs he finished in an amazing time of 4:02:00 for his 2nd marathon.

Terasa Holden was lucky enough to get a ballot place for Bank of America Chicago Marathon which is part of the World Majors Super Six! Terasa has completed 8 marathons overall, 4 of the Super Six, London, New York, Berlin and now Chicago and has found that ‘Jeffing’ really works for her. This is a run/walk method created by Jeff Galloway which you choose your own ratio. Terasa did 20sec running/30sec walking and finished in 6:06:53!! A fantastic achievement!! The final two marathons to complete the Majors are Japan and Boston, which hopefully she will get one done in 2024!
