The Parent Hood of Harlow Presents: Postnatal Plus – January 2024 Course

THE Parent Hood of Harlow is excited to announce the launch of our highly anticipated Postnatal Plus Course for January 2024. This comprehensive six-week program is designed to empower and support new parents on their parenting journey. The course covers a wide range of topics essential to the well-being and success of parents and their newborns.

**Course Details:**

– **Dates:** Thursdays, starting on January 25th, 2024
– **Duration:** 6 weeks
– **Time:** 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
– **Location:** The Parent Hood of Harlow
– **Eligibility:** Parents of babies due from September 2023 – January 2024

**Course Curriculum:**

1. **Mindfulness in Parenthood**: Learn techniques to manage stress and anxiety, and find calm in the midst of parenting challenges.

2. **Relationships**: Discover how to strengthen and maintain healthy relationships as new parents.

3. **Feeding and Nutrition**: Gain insights into proper feeding guidance and nutrition for both you and your newborn.

4. **Postnatal Exercise**: Explore safe and effective exercises to regain strength and energy postpartum.

5. **Baby First Aid**: Acquire essential life-saving skills and knowledge to handle common emergencies involving infants.

6. **Returning to Work**: Prepare for a smooth transition back to your career while balancing your parental responsibilities.
Each week an hour is spent on an interactive session with the expert and the rest of the time is for making connections as refreshments are served.

**Course Funding:**

We are thrilled to offer this course at no cost to Harlow families, thanks to the generous support of the Harlow Health Centres Trust. This unique opportunity allows us to make valuable knowledge and resources accessible to all new parents in our community. While the course is free, we welcome donations towards the daily running of The Parent Hood to continue providing essential support for families.
