After all the recent and historic words about the Conservative party being the party of law and order this just proves otherwise. If you under fund, under staff and under resource all areas of the criminal justice system you end up with court backlogs, low numbers of police officers, closed courts, prisons overflowing, legal aid reduced and the probation service on its face. Party of law and disorder is a more relevant description today.
