Harlow Junior parkrun celebrates run number 300
Athletics / Mon 30th Oct 2023 at 09:26am
ON SUNDAY, Harlow Junior parkrun celebrated the 300th running of the event.
The event which is 2k around the town park show ground first took place on July 24th, 2016.
A huge part of its success is down to the hard work of the organisers who get up, very early on a Sunday morning and make sure children have a chance to take part in a very healthy activity.
Event 300 was a spooktacular success as there were Skeletons, Aliens, Wizards, Witches, Dinosaurs, Crocodiles, Bats, Devils, Zombies, Werewolves, Wednesdays, Malfoys, Batmans, Cats and Sumo Wrestlers.
There were also lots of children dressed as runners!
Well done to Joshua, Ben, Isobel, Liam, Brayden, Katherine and Sophie for achieving PBs.
Welcome to all the first times at Harlow juniors. Hector, Isla, Arthur, Louis, Erik and Buddy.
