TODAY is Supporting Male Victims of Domestic Abuse Day. Mankind is asking all agencies who offer support to male victims to publicise the help they have available for men in their local community.
Mankind state that one in three victims trying to escape domestic abuse are men, and men make up one in four domestic abuse related offences reported to the police. They also state that only one in twenty victims are accessing services from local commissioned services.
Mankind offers information, signposting services to men suffering domestic abuse from their current or former partners including same sex partners.

Domestic violence against us men never seems to be as highlighted as our female counterparts, after being a victim and leaving taken my daughter with me was the hardest but best decision I have ever made, my very ex wife and are started to talk for the sake of our daughter but she is still very toxic and altho she has moved on she thinks its OK and in the past, for me however is still plays in the back of my mind, if your a victim don't be scared or feel humiliated because your a man, us hunter gatherers are still human beings, and yes I will publish my whole name because I was a victim and I'm not hiding what I went through.
