Robert Halfon MP praises local resident for gaining a Level 2 Apprenticeship with Distinction

DURING MP, Robert Halfon’s visit to Harlow College on Friday 10th November, he also had the opportunity to meet and congratulate Ben Walker.
During the Covid pandemic, Mr Walker made the courageous decision to retrain at the age of forty-two and today, Mr Halfon was honoured to present Ben with his Level 2 APO3 Carpentry and Joinery apprenticeship certificate.
Speaking to Your Harlow, Mr Halfon said: “It was a privilege to meet Ben today and an honour to present him with his fantastic qualification in Carpentry and Joinery, for which he has received a Distinction.
“Following a fascinating career at News International, which enabled him to meet individuals like Rupert Murdoch, Ben made the courageous decision to retrain as a Carpenter at our wonderful Harlow College.
“Ben is an inspiration to us all, proving that apprenticeships are for everyone, whether they are young, or old. By taking this step, Ben has demonstrated the power that apprenticeships can have to enable people to retrain, upskill, or begin a brand new career.
“I wish to offer Ben and his family, my congratulations for his wonderful achievement!”
During the presentation, Mr Walker spoke of his gratitude to his trainer, who helped him change his career. Ben said, “I am very grateful for the opportunity to have studied my apprenticeship at Harlow College. For me, coming in as an older apprentice was daunting at first, but I am so glad I did, and I recommend this as a pathway to anyone thinking of making a change in their career.”

Halfon voted repeatedly to reduce education budgets when he was a junior education minister. He took the salary for this job and deprived the kids in Harlow of a decent school to go to. He is a scam artist, proven thieving expenses fiddler and liar. If you are working class and vote for him again, you must be blind, dumb or evil.

Halfon votes every time AGAINST the interests of Harlow people. Don't be scammed by this lying thieving individual, look at his voting record first on 'they work for you com' and see how much he despises Harlow people.

Look at Halfons voting record, you will be so disappointed that he has been voted for by Harlow people, you can see his record of voting to make Harlow as deprived as possible at 'they work for you com' look it up, then write to him to tell him where to go.
