TWO men have been charged with the possession of Class A drugs with the intent to supply after two cars were stopped by officers in Harlow.
On Wednesday 15 November, officers from the Raptor Serious Violence Unit officers stopped a driver near Staple Tye shopping centre. A man was arrested and a number of mobile phones, as well as cash and suspected Class A drugs, were seized from the vehicle.
In the hours after this arrest, the officers detected another driver acting suspiciously in the town and stopped them, finding another volume of cash and mobile phone believed to be concerned in drug dealing.
Now, Florjan Seni, of Burghley Road, London N8, and Gerald Tace, of Coleraine Road, London N8, both 23, have been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possessing criminal property.
They have been remanded in custody and appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Friday 17 November. They will next appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on 15 December.
Inspector Mark Jones of the Raptor Unit said: “We are working tirelessly to disrupt the illegal and violent drugs trade in our county.
“We understand that the causes of drug use are complex, but those who deal illegal drugs prey on the most vulnerable and inflict harm across our communities. We will continue to relentlessly pursue them at every opportunity.”
