A TRIP to the clink last Saturday (17th Feb) for two members of Innovation Multisport. Kelly Burgess and Alan Shead attended Wormwood Scrubs parkrun with a bunch of their club members and friends to celebrate their milestone achievements.

Alan has run 100 parkruns in total at 43 different locations in just over two years.  47 of the 100 were at Harlow parkrun. He is currently on a tourist streak of 31 different parkruns and is aiming to do a whole year, so only another 21 to go and he will be back at Harlow.

Kelly was celebrating 3 milestones on Saturday.  She had strategically worked out that her 100th Volunteering role, her 100th different parkrun and her 250th parkrun could all fall on the same day! 

Out of the 250 parkruns, 121 of those have been at Harlow! 

Kelly and Alan celebrated their achievements with friends who came from across the country, from Cambridgeshire,  Hertfordshire, Essex, North Lincolnshire and Somerset, they all came together in fancy dress! 

Running is not always about stats, times and positions. Sometimes it’s about having fun with your friends, running round a muddy field dressed as cops, robbers and prisoners!!
