New road safety website launched by Safer Essex Roads Partnership

ON MONDAY, the Safer Essex Roads Partnership (SERP) launched its new, interactive website. The innovative online platform will provide up-to-date information and data on road safety in Essex, with segmented content, tailored to a variety or road users.

The user-friendly site, provides a carefully crafted visitor journey, with interactive data, informative features on current road safety issues,SERP’s new site was a collaborative approach from experienced partners, to further promote their continuing work in engaging with the public around road safety, across the county.

Will Cubbin, Manager for SERP, said: “We are very excited to launch our new and improved website to the Essex community.

The Partnership want to both inform and engage the public, through educational tools, data, and knowledge as key methods for promoting road safety.”The Partnership is keen that all road users utilise our digital platform, as a knowledge hub and for sharing information.

Vision Zero is the aspiration to have no road death or serious injury on Essex roads by 2040, and this can only be achieved if everyone plays their part. Road safety impacts everyone.”

The website has been built in partnership with road safety communications specialists, Stennik.

Edward Seaman, Stennik’s head of content, said: “The creation of the new Safer Essex Roads Partnership website has been a real collaborative effort.”

From the get-go, the aim has been to build a resource which all road users in Essex can benefit from, and we believe we have achieved that goal.”

“The website is built using the latest technology, ensuring it is both accessible and easy to use on all platforms, something which is particularly important given the way people access their information in the modern technological world.”

The SERP website will also include a memorial page, to pay tribute to loved ones lost on Essex roads and share key memories.
