BMX: Church Langley’s Ethan produces impressive performances at beginning of national Series

A CHURCH Langley BMX cyclist has had a promising start to the National Series with a series of promising rides in Manchester.
Ethan White, aged 8, had another 32 competitors to face but he was undaunted by the task.
Many had also had a winter series to sharpen their skills, stamina and speed. Ethan hadn’t.

Saturday Round 1: Ethan was slow off the gate but had great track speed and that helped him get through to the semi-finals
In the semi-final, Ethan again got out really slow but went from fifth to first to win the semi putting him in the final.
He had a great final and finished third overall
Sunday Round 2: Ethan learnt from his mistakes from Saturday and knew to stand a chance he would have to anticipate the intimidating first jump.
He put on a great show doing it which helped Ethan finish in second place in the final .
The next national round is April 20th and 21st at Cyclopark, Kent.
