A HARLOW man has pleaded guilty to downloading images of child abuse.

Michael McGrath, aged 79, of Hornbeams pleaded guilty at Chelmsford magistrates to the following.

Make indecent photograph / pseudo-photograph of a child.

Between August 1st, 2023 and December 8th, 2023 at Harlow, made indecent photographs as follows:

76 Category A images of a child.

50 Category B images of a child.

McGrath is set to be sentenced at Chelmsford Crown Court on Wednesday May 29th, 2024.
