Harlow’s newest running club grows in strength

HERCULES members took part in Endure24 which is a 24-hour event in Reading each year, it is known as the Glastonbury for Runners.

The event is a gruelling 5 miles lap trial run were athletes take turns in a running a lap of the course during the 24 hour event.

The team came an excellent 8th out of 25 teams in their category, members also took part in a nearby Q Parkrun, to help towards completing the Parkrun Challenge of doing a different Parkrun with the name starting with A-Z.

Hercules is Harlow & Essex’s newest England Athletics Club which is currently free to be a member of or £19 a year to be a member with the England Athletics affiliation.

Our club currently (for a small fee) trains on Tuesdays between 17:00-18:00 at Mark Hall Sports

We are also part of Infinity which is a virtual club on Zwift where members take part in running and cycling events as a club.
