Harlow food bank should go to bounty for donations; all the donations bounty get they sell in their shop for almost same as supermarket. they have a whole warehouse full of food that they overcharge people for. (If you go there then you would understand it lost its purpose ages ago imo). Everyone is feeling the pinch.

I’m pretty sure they sell most of their donations in the Bounty Club, which is a charity within Harlow food bank. Once it used to help people, you could get meat, fresh produce and cupboard things for £2.50. Then they moved and are selling things for more than is charged in shops, most of it is out of date. For example they’re selling ketchup for £2.70, in farm foods it’s 99p!! Would love to know where the money is going if it’s not going back into the food bank. They’ve completely lost their way and are more money grabbing than helpful now.

Hi Sharon and Peter. We make no money from the Bounty Club, it is subsidised food and branded items are sold for less than what the same brand costs in other supermarkets. Shoppers who want farm foods ketchup should happily buy it there. We are not profiteering in any way. Food donated to the Foodbank goes to people who need it for free as they have no food in the house, not to the Bounty Club. Andy Thornton. CEO MRCT

Maybe Carly Burd could help out by handing over some of the missing £180k that the public generously donated to her, purportedly to feed the people of Harlow.

Anybody asked Carly Burd if she might like to help them out with some of the £160k-180k she should still have from the allotment project that she inexplicably abandoned? Imagine just sitting on all that money with no projects on the board when the community of Harlow could desperately use it.

People who can't spell need better education, as do ignorant racists, "Boss Man" [sure sign of inadequacy, that self-given nickname]...
