OVER the last two years, a Pokemon Go Group in Harlow has grown in popularity.
What is Pokémon Go?
A quick check with Wikipedia says this.
Pokémon Go is an augmented reality game. It uses mobile devices with GPS to locate, capture, train, and battle virtual Pokémon, which appear as if they are in the player’s real-world location.
The Pokémon Go group in Harlow was set up around two years ago by Dann and Jupiter, and over the course of those two years it has become a very well established group for players and those wanting to start playing the game.

It originally started out as four people walking around town, just as lockdown restrictions were being lifted and gradually more and more people have joined with an average meet up having 30 or more players.
We asked a number of players who gather at the Water Gardens what they enjoyed about it.
Jupiter said: “We have a real sense of belonging and a sense of community. It is s very open to anyone who wants to join in.
People of all ages and from inside and outside of Harlow will come here just to play and have fun.
“It is a very joinable community where meetings are organised online and anyone is welcome, new players are coming along every week including service workers and families who all get involved.
“It’s a very welcoming community that celebrate each other’s achievements, give chances to meet new people, go around the town together and explore new places, be a part of a group you all share something in common with and ultimately have fun catching Pokémon”.
