Convicted Harlow dummy snatcher jailed again after contacting 75 people online to try and buy used baby items

A MAN who was jailed for snatching dummies from babies in Harlow has been jailed again after contacting parents on Facebook to try and buy used soothers.
Josh Guilder, aged 24, of no fixed address appeared at Northampton Crown Court.

At least he hasnt been stealing them from babies, i feel at mothers groups perhaps we should collect all out old ones and send them to him to keep him occupied. people are too judgemental these days if a man wants to be dressed up and called a women why cant a man used old dummies live and let live i say

Anna there is nothing stopping him going into the shop to buy a dummy, he doesn’t need to harm babies to get them and message mums on sites to get them and make them worry in the process. No one is saying he can’t have a dummy 🙄 I am all for live and let live when it doesn’t harm anyone else. He needs to be locked up he is a weirdo

Let their low intelligence and moral compass be a lesson to us all that out there, there are people defending this type of sickening pedophilic child abusive like behaviour and defending it as "live and let live." Grow up and start thinking like real rational adults. I seriously cannot believe what I just read. Smithers - stick to Mr Burns doing your thinking for you, didnt you read the article he wanted USED ones, i dont think you can pick Dummys up from Cash Convertors. This guy needs to be supported and respected he doesnt need belittleing from an internet rabble of hooligans. i think the world needs to be more inclusive and respect others needs. Mason - he just wanted a used dummy if we can help him not feel the need to steal them we could save the prisons a whole heap of money. he needs support and care from the workd he doesnt need prison time

A dummy / pacifier is not a sexually related item, like maybe a nappy might be construed. To me it occurs that maybe this guy lost a child, for whatever reason, and he gains comfort from having one or more around. As a parent myself, of now grown children I know that new and used dummies have a different feel and texture. It also seems to me that he had realised that stealing them was wrong and frightening, and was trying to get them with permission. I'm not surprised to see the hang 'em and burn 'em mob peddling their normal bile, and making EVERTHING sexually motivated. I think it says more about them, than the guy who clearly needs help.
