Given Saudia Arabia's appalling human rights record and it's slaughter in Yemen, it is not a country that I fancy visiting anytime soon. Let's not forget the hundreds that die each year on the hajj pilgrimage, If you criticise its regime, especially for journalists, it has a unique consulate service of a plastic bag over the head, a chainsaw dissection and diplomatic bag disposal. Of course, I refer to journalist Jamal Khashoggi murdered in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in October 2018. Please do not forget him: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-45812399

The human rights group Reprieve has this to say about the Saudi legal system: "Saudi Arabia’s judicial system – the legal system and judgments made in a court of law – is known for being unjust. Legal decisions, especially around the death penalty, are taken behind closed doors, court documents are forbidden from being published, charges are changed, and court sessions are indefinitely postponed, to name a few examples. Reprieve investigations have found that fair trial violations and torture are endemic in death penalty cases, including the cases of child defendants."
