IT does seem somewhat appropriate that one of the most modest men we have ever interviewed is one of the few Olympians that live in Harlow.
Jeff Davis competed for Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal.

It was a remarkable achievement in a time when the sport was dominated by the countries east of the Iron Curtain.
He then went on to a career as a stuntman appearing in films such as The Princess Bride. television programmes such as Londons Burning and music videos such as Wild Boys by Duran Duran.

Jeff continues to train our next generation of gymnasts at Griffin Gymnastics Club
We asked Jeff to tell us why and how he got involved in Gymnastics and his career from there.
Thank you for highlighting this incredible gymnast. He is very modest about his amazing achievements
Remember you well .Always looked up to guys like you for inspiration though personally I was never anywhere near your skill level.I trained at Bush Harlow Gymnastics in the mid to late seventies when the late and great Mitch Fenner was the boss and ended up doing sports acrobatics for my sins.Good to know you made a career out of your skills and good luck with the new club at the Leisurezone.Bush Harlow Gymnastic club probably one of the best gymnastic clubs in the country at the time thanks in part to members like yourself and of course Mitch.
