Man arrested following series of indecent exposures across Harlow

A man from Harlow has been arrested in connection with incidents of indecent exposure in Harlow.
Police received three reports of indecent exposures in September in the South Gate and Manston Road areas.
A 24 year-old was arrested last month on suspicion of indecent exposure and outraging public decency.
He is on bail until 15 January.

OFFICERS in Harlow are investigating reports of indecent exposures in Harlow
So far, they have received three reports of indecent exposures in the past two weeks. These have occurred between, South Gate and Manston Road.
South Gate is the road that runs past Harlow police station.
Manston Road runs from Maddox Road to Second Avenue.
The suspect is described as a white man, in his 30s with dark hair, possible dark beard. He has been reported as wearing a black cap, black tracksuit, black top and possibly face covered. He was seen with a blue bicycle.
Officers in Harlow are carrying out enquiries in the area, including reviewing CCTV and taking statements from witnesses and victims.
T/Inspector Leanne Archer said “We do believe that all these reports are linked and we’re working quickly to identify the suspect.
“I appreciate that this is concerning, and I’d like to thank the victims in this case for contacting us quickly and being so supportive.
“I’d encourage anyone who hasn’t contacted us but may have witnessed something in the area to contact us.”

Too many lonely spaces in the design. It's nice, of course, to have leafy banks between the roads and the estates- but it also leaves vulnerable people easily subject to harassment and indecency. After office hours there are whole areas of the town centre where you'd have to take your own crowd with you because they're bleak, Leningrad style. Outside the centre, long, poorly lit, meandering side-streets, even the main roads leave pedestrians isolated. A part answer would be to restore the PCSOs to the numbers recruited before the last government devastated then to save money. Obviously, the odd demented person who forgets to don or fasten up clothes for decency is impossible to legislate against- though handy officers can snatch them quickly. Those who intend harm, or get a vicarious thrill might think better if being caught was more likely- the thrill of appearing in the local press, magistrate's Court evening news- and that being shared with neighbours, colleagues and employers might deter.

He lives around brockles mead, staple tye area, he's not 30 he's a 14 year old kid. Harlow police station shuts at 5 well police works or if working 9-5 in Harlow is the local police. Most of the times on duty you will find them order food from McDonald's, catching criminals ?? puffff not their job mate. Why open Harlow police station 9-5 ? Wasting Finances, money, work force, petrol xyz, Harlow police station building should be given to homeless British people struggling in this weather and recession. Harlow Community Police station is a Joke, just go inside and try lodge a complain.

@mel I don't know about the others just heard about the one from five acres. Some skinny bloke in a parka jacket the kids said. Not heard anything about anyone being caught
