Hundreds flock to wonderful Harlow Pride at the Harvey Centre

HUNDREDS flocked to a celebration of Harlow Pride in the Harvey Centre on Saturday afternoon.

The Phoenix Live area was used as a showcase for number of musical acts and performances.

But there was also stalls from a vast number of organisations across the Harlow community.

Including: Butterfly Effect Well Being, Samaritans, Harlow Essex Animal Rescue Team to name just a few.

Harlow MP Chris Vince was in attendance and seemed to have a great time.

Well done to everyone involved for creating such an event.

We are sure the organisers must be pleased that the Harvey Centre has also once again hosted this special event.

I agree with Peter Webb the country is in a sorry state and there celebrating there pride. I'm heterosexual I don't need a pride day. To tell everyone I'm heterosexual

What people do in the privacy of their own homes is their affair. Why do we have to get it shoved in our faces continually. Nobody is interested.

This was a fantastic event. But to all those making negative comments, especially “Truman” - How is a Pride celebration taking place in one small part of Harlow having it “shoved it in our faces”? You don’t have to go to the event; you don’t have to read reports about it - which you obviously did because you made this comment! If you don’t what to take part in it then don’t. Im not sure how other people celebrating Pride affects you - unless you want it to that is. And “Truman” if you want to have a special event to celebrate your inherent manliness, then thats up to you. Im sure it wont bother anyone else.
