A TEENAGE girl is in a serious condition in hospital following a road traffic collision in Harlow on Thursday morning.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said:

“We were called around 10.55am to a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Edinburgh Way in Harlow.

An ambulance, ambulance officer vehicle and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.

“The pedestrian, a teenage girl, was airlifted to The Royal London Hospital in a serious condition.”

An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for any information in relation to a collision in Harlow.

We were called by paramedics to the scene of a collision in Edinburgh Way, Harlow, at about 10.55am.

At the scene it was reported a pedestrian and a car had been involved in a collision and the pedestrian had sustained serious injuries.

She was treated by the ambulance service and airlifted to hospital.

“Our enquiries into this collision are ongoing and we want to hear from anyone who may have more information. Please contact us quoting incident number 419 on Thursday 31 October”.
