Deleting my comment I see. Your Harlow and Keir Starmer go hand in hand at times.
No surprises there tbh. For quite a few years now, I have been campaigning to have a security door installed in our small block of flats because of multple incidents like this (some of them scary and potentially dangerous) . Apparently the council and the community safety team are perfectly willing to wait until someone gets hurt (or worse) before taking what is obviously the proper action . We have had so many close shaves now our luck is bound to run out soon. At a recent meeting with a Housing Officer and a member of the Community Safety Team , after showing a cross section of the many videos of similar incidents, I was effectively accused of "crying wolf" and was also told that I was the "only one it was happening to" Now , where have we heard that before? I know I am no Alan Bates , but I'm begining to know what he feels like. Stll, fingers crossed eh?
See above .......Could there possibly be a local journalist willing to take up our cause and bring it to a wider audience. Maybe interview the main protagonists in this issue to try to ascertain why they continue to tweak the nose of common sense?. I feel like I have been shouting into the wind and being ignored .
That's Levi M!
