A HARLOW man has been banned from driving following drinking and driving in Harlow.

Susantha Ratnayake, aged 55, of Hare Street Springs, Harlow, pled guilty at the Chelmsford magistrates court to the following.

On November 3rd, 2024, on Hare Street Springs, Harlow, you drove a Blue BMW after having consumed so much alcohol that the proportion of it in your breath namely 116 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath exceeded the prescribed limit.

He was banned from driving for 28 months.

Unpaid work. Requirement to be completed within 12 months. – Number of hours: 100 Hours.
