ESSEX Police officers from their local Policing Team were on patrol on Friday morning when they were alerted to a ANPR hit of a stolen vehicle about to enter Harlow.

Officers conducted area searches and intercepted the vehicle along Howard Way along with officers from Met Police who were tracking the vehicle.

A male was arrested by officers from Met Police on suspicion of handling stolen goods and further investigation to be continued by Met Police.

HGV was conveyed back to owner.
