Citizens Advice Harlow responds to news of Harlow Advice Centre closure

Business / Wed 29th Jan 2025 at 09:17am

CITIZENS Advice Harlow is sad to learn of the financial challenges faced by Harlow Advice Centre, leading to its closure. Any closure of advice services is a loss to the local community and highlights the increasingly difficult environment for charities to secure sustainable funding and adapt to evolving needs.

We do recognise the important contributions made by the Harlow Advice Centre and its experienced staff over the years, Citizens Advice Harlow would welcome the opportunity to discuss how we can offer suitable employment opportunities to their team. By integrating their expertise, we aim to ensure that their dedication to helping residents continues to benefit the local community through our organisation, which has been providing specialist advice services in Harlow since 1956.

Our priority remains to deliver free, independent, impartial, and confidential advice to all who need it. As we adapt to the growing challenges ahead, we are committed to strengthening our services to ensure no one in Harlow is left without the support they require.

Well well well,a typical ploy by third parties to further reduce the average persons right to information and advice to know about legal and civil matters. Legal costs are prohibitive for Mr average ,thus no defence. Keep bringing us down !

Never mind: at least we have new paving stones. That'll cheer us all up.
