THE SAINT Mark’s West Essex Catholic School Under-19 Netball team stormed into the final of the Essex Plate.

They beat USP College from Benfleet, 48-39.

It was a close game but it looks like it was St Mark’s who had the real USP with their unique scoring points.

Special mention to Shamari, who was the player of the match.

This is a tremendous team, who really give it 100% but most of all really enjoy their sport.

The school also have a really good system where some girls, when they go into sixth form, get the chance to take coaching badges and qualifications.

The final against Sweyne Park High is on Thursday at New Hall School in Chelmsford.
