M11: Two arrested and motorbikes seized

OFFICERS trying to keep you safe on our roads have arrested two people and seized four motorbikes following reports of dangerous riding on the M11.
A police spokesperson said: “We received a call shortly before 3.40pm yesterday (Saturday 5 April) about a group of around a dozen motorbikes travelling southbound between Newport and Stansted Airport.

It was reported the bikes were being ridden dangerously and at speed.
Specialist officers intercepted the vehicles as they headed into the Birchanger Services.
Two people were arrested.
“A 35 year-old man from Enfield was questioned on suspicion of drug driving.
He has since been released under investigation.
“A second man was reported for a public order offence at the scene and then de-arrested.
Four motorbikes were seized using police anti-social driving powers and a number of riders were reported for road traffic offences.
