MORE details have been released for Harlow Council’s celebrations to mark the 80^th anniversary of VE Day which will take place on Thursday 8 May in Playhouse Square.

The celebrations will start at 3.30pm until 9.30pm. 

There will be food and drink including a licensed bar as well as music and entertainment throughout the day. There will also be a colouring competition and activity stalls.

There will be a beacon lighting at 9.15pm as part of beacon lighting events across the country.
