A CHURCH Langley woman has pleaded guilty to drinking and driving.
Tanya Boothman, aged 45, of Whieldon Grange, Church Langley pled to the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.

On March 27th, 2025, on Church Langley Way, Harlow drove a Smart Car after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in your breath namely 133 micro grammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath exceeded the prescribed limit.
Boothman will return to court on June 6th for sentencing.
If you can afford to be four times over the limit, you can afford a cab home. Summer's a great time for a cold beer, an iced gin or whatever your tipple is but it really isn't worth the risk of driving drunk.
